The latter species being the first record for Nottinghamshire, with all determinations confirmed by Martin Gray.

Additional notes: The Pyralid Nephopterix angustella (Spindle Knot-horn) was new for Misson Carr and at the time, represented only the third Nottinghamshire site for the moth. But surprisingly, another was trapped at Nuthall in Nottingham, the following night.
