Luquetia lobella ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775)
Status .....Presumed to be an uncommon or rare moth in Nottinghamshire. The only recent records we know of, are moths attracted to MV light traps operated in Phil Lee's Misterton garden on June 6th 2013 and more recently from our own Market Warsop garden on June 3rd 2018 and at Lound Wood on June 22nd 2023. Our thanks go to Phil for once again, very kindly providing us with his photograph below.
