Luquetia lobella ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775)
Status .....Presumed to be an uncommon or rare moth in Nottinghamshire. The only recent records we know of, are moths attracted to MV light traps operated at Broadholme 28/06/2010, Misterton 06/06/2013 and more recently from our own Market Warsop garden on 03/06/2018 and 28/05/2025, at Lound Wood on 22/06/2023 and Cotgrave Forest 30/05/2025. Our thanks go to Phil Lee for kindly providing his photograph below.
