Ringed China-mark Parapoynx stratiotata (Linnaeus, 1758)
Status .....Despite being regarded nationally as common, this moth seems to be anything but common in Nottinghamshire, based on the records we have at our disposal. Found at either end of the county, the only sites we know of where this moth occurs regularly are Misson Carr, Misterton and Holme Pierrepont/lower Trent Valley areas, but it is presumed to be more widespread in wetland areas.
