Bryotropha senectella (Zeller, 1839)
Probably a somewhat under-recorded moth in Nottinghamshire being one of many similar 'small brown jobs' but based on the known recent records, then  Bryotropha senectella would seem to be scarce across the county. The one photographed, was found and netted during the day at the Idle Valley NR in early September 2021 by members of the Lound Moth Group.
