Mompha epilobiella ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775)
Status .....Generally common at damp sites containing Willowherb, but this species can turn up anywhere and is probably somewhat poorly recorded. The Attenborough specimen was kindly sent to us for confirmation of ID, by Tim Sexton of the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust.
