Status
.....An uncommon moth in Nottinghamshire and one which
is quite difficult to separate visually from several similar species,
although the form rhodochrella is distinctive.
The only recent records of Agonopterix subpropinquella we are
aware of, are from the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust's Misson Carr
reserve (the most recent coming in 2024) from Wilford in 2018
(Hurst, A.) a number of records
from Broadholme (Gray, M.) on the
Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire border and Lound Wood at Eakring in
2025. |
