Fen Wainscot Arenostola phragmitidis (Hübner, 1803)
Status .....Fen Wainscot is a moth of southern and eastern areas of the UK and has Grade 3 status in Nottinghamshire, where most records come from Trent Valley sites. There are just two Sherwood Forest records, following moths in 1975 and 2013, so this moth is prone to wandering in favourable conditions. The top two photographs, were kindly supplied to us for inclusion by Tim Sexton.
