Magpie Abraxas grossulariata (Linnaeus, 1758) 
Status .....Common and abundant at Eakring some years, where it seemed to be subject to huge fluctuations in numbers. Generally still probably common throguhout Nottinghamshire, although it doesn't seem frequent around the Mansfield/Sherwood Forest and other western parts of the county and has possibly declined in recent years.
