Brown-veined Wainscot Archanara dissoluta (Treitschke, 1825)
Status .....Until the last few years, this moth was restricted in Nottinghamshire to Attenborough Nature Reserve. Currently Grade 2 listed in the county, there have been a number of records from other sites including Budby South Forest (Hursthouse, D. et al), so some records refer to wandering individuals. The one below was attracted to our garden MV on August 5th 2018, with Twin-spotted Wainscot and Fen Wainscot also turning up the same night.
