V-Moth Macaria wauaria (Linnaeus, 1758) 
This rare Nottinghamshire moth has not occurred in the county since J.W.Carr wrote his book 'The Invertebrate Fauna of Nottinghamshire' published back in 1916. The moth llustrated below, was rapped at Theddlethorpe Dunes in Lincolnshire by Martin Gray. Grateful thanks go to Martin, for kindly allowing his photograph to be used here.
