The Passenger Dysgonia algira  (Linnaeus, 1767)
Status .....A moth of southern Europe and Africa and an extremely rare migrant to the UK, where it has been recorded on relatively few occasions. For an inland county such as Nottinghamshire, The Passenger must rank as the Holy Grail of Moths. An unlikely addition to the county list in August 2020, when the one below was recorded in Phil and Steph Lee's Misterton garden. Thanks to Phil, for allowing the use of his photograph.
