| Status .....Recently recorded new Nottinghamshire in August 2026, when recorded at Misterton in the north-east of the county (Lee, P.). Purple Marbled usually turns up along south coastal areas, but inland records can never be ruled out in favourable years, such as occurred in 2026, with an unprecidented range of migrant moths (and numbers) turning up throughout much of the UK. | ||
