| Currently rare in Nottinghamshire, where it is known from just two sites and is currently (July/August 2026) being looked for at other sites where Fleaban grows. The larva feed within the flower, its presence given away by the feeding signs showed in the photographs below, as tufts, or raised areas within the flower itself. Not an easy find. The examples in the photographs, were found by Nick and Samantha Brownley, at Bevercotes Pit Wood in late July 2026. | ||
