Pinion-streaked Snout Schrankia costaestrigalis (Stephens, 1834)
Status .....A rare moth in Nottinghamshire, predominantly occurring in wetland habitats. Since 2003, there has been a scattering of records from a line north-east of Wollaton, through Ravenshead and up to Misson Carr in the very north of the county. Our thanks go to members of the Lound Moth Group, for kindly supplying the moth for us to photograph below.
