Phoenix Eulithis prunata (Linnaeus, 1758)  
Status .....A generally uncommon moth with a rather strange distribution in Nottinghamshire. There are a number of records from the lower reaches of the Trent Valley and the Nottingham suburbs, then a number of records located further north, running across the county through the Sherwood Forest area. The most northerly county record on the distribution map, is from Gamston Wood near Retford.
