Anania perlucidalis (Hübner, 1809) .... Formerly known as Phlyctaenia perlucidalis
Status .....Was considered rare in Nottinghamshire not that long ago, with few records around the time of our first record of this moth back in 2003. But in the last decade has greatly increased. Single moths from two sites in the Eakring area during 2003, there then followed a gap of four years, before three moths were recorded on two dates in 2007, all at MV light. This moth is prone to wandering on warm, humid nights of high moth activity.
