Pammene ignorata (Kuznetzov, 1968)
Only recorded new to Nottinghamshire in May 2026, when an adult was found resting on a tree trunk by day at Clumber Park, from woodland at the side of the A614 near the Clumber Park Hotel. Nationally, Pammene ignorata is scarce but thought likely to be increasing, after early records from Devon in 1986 and Gloucestershire in 2006. But there have been a scattering of records more recently, including from as far north as Northumberland.

The photographs below, show the same specimen photographed in slightly different light . When first found, the moth appeared quite black to the eye, with a conspicuous dorsal blotch, almost like a very dark Pammene argyrana, which was present at the same location.
