Orache Moth Trachea atriplicis (Linnaeus, 1758)
On the Nottinghamshire list through J.W. Carr's listing of an undated record from Sherwood Forest by W.J. Sterland, in his book 'The Invertebrate Fauna of Nottinghamshire. Nottingham: J.& H. Bell Ltd (1916)' and published despite Carr lacking trust in many of Sterland's records. Carr felt that Sterland's list contained so many improbable species and records (and to be honest it did) that he thought they must have been collected by Trueman from other parts of the country, or recieved by him, from other collectors.

However improbable the occurence of Orache Moth in Nottinghamshire was, or still is, there has to be an element of open-mindedness about it turning up in land-locked Nottinghamshire today, purely on the basis that so many, once unlikely migratory species are now occurring, sometimes well inland, that just about anything could be possible.
