Generally a moth of grassy, downland sites, it may well be that this
moth occurs more widely than records suggest. However, there are
relatively few records listed on the NBN Atlas and it is regarded as
being scarce across the UK.
The true status of this moth in Nottinghamshire is thus presently
unknown and the only available record, is of the one found and
photographed on the site of the former Calverton Colliery in June 2022
by Nick and Samantha Brownley. Grateful thanks go to Nick for
allowing his photographs to be used here. |
