Italian Bark Moth Metalampra italica (Baldizzone, 1977)
Formerly regarded as endemic to Italy and not recorded outside Italy, until suddenly turning up in Devon in 2003. A number of records have occurred in over a dozen counties since, with Nottinghamshire's first record coming from Phil Lee's Misterton garden in late July 2024.

There have been a succession of further records in 2025, initially with one at Stanton-on-the-Wolds on June 28th (Mathers, S.), followed by two netted during the day at the Idle Valley NR (Cadman, P and Hunt, I.) on July 4th with another there on July 24th (Carter, T.), one at Broadholme on July 8th (Gray, M.) another at West Bridgford on July 20th (Freestone, R.) and one at Upper Saxondale on August 13th (Cooper, C.). Likely to become more regularly recorded over the coming few years.
