Lackey Malacosoma neustria (Linnaeus, 1758)  
Status .....Despite what the distribution map would suggest, this is not a common moth in Nottinghamshire. Most records are from the Trent Valley and eastern-half of the county, but it doesn't seem to be regularly trapped anywhere.
