Juniper
Carpet Thera juniperata (Linnaeus, 1758) |
Status
.....Formerly restricted to a small
number of localities in the UK, but has undergone a huge
expansion of range through the planting of ornamental
Junipers in gardens. Probably a frequently trapped moth
in many urban areas across Nottinghamshire and indeed, a regular place
to see Juniper Carpet resting by day, was on walls outsite the Endoscopy
Unit at Nottingham City Hospital, but there are records from more rural
sites including Budby South Forest. |
