Golden Plusia Polychrysia moneta (Fabricius, 1787)
Status .....The current status of this moth in Nottinghamshire remains unknown. The lack of records sent in to us for inclusion in the county distribution maps, would suggest that this moth is rare in Nottinghamshire, yet it does not have any grade of county rarity status. The specimen photographed here, was trapped by Phil Cadman in his garden at Worksop. Phil trapped a second specimen within days of this record and another turned up in a Market Warsop garden in July 2014.
