Elachista argentella (Clerck, 1759)
Status .....Quite an easy species to identify if seen well enough. Often readily disturbed from grassy sites by day and favouring such habitats, this moth should be widespread. However, most of the records we have on the distribution map, are from Sherwood Forest and other north Nottinghamshire sites.
