Depressaria ultimella (Stainton, 1849)
Status .....A single attracted to MV light run by Martin Gray in his Broadholme garden in May 2019, seems to be the first county record and there have been further records from the same site. One of a number of very similar species, which need determination by dissection to confirm ID. Recently attracted to light at Elkesley by Paul Coombes in September 2024.

A note on Broadholme records: Broadholme is in vice county VC56 of Nottinghamshire (which is covered by www.eakringbirds.com), but not in the administrative county of Nottinghamshire on which the county's moth records are based by the county macromoth recorder. However, micromoth records from Broadholme are officially recognised by both the county micromoth recorder and Butterfly Conservation, as being genuine Nottinghamshire records.
