Dark Spectacle Abrostola triplasia (Linnaeus, 1758)
Status .....Fairly widespread over much of Nottinghamshire, but in practice never encountered that often. In fact, after almost 20 years recording moths in the county, this is still a species we had never encountered until finally recording one in 2021. Thanks go to Phil Cadman for providing the opportunity to photograph the moth below.
