Cream-spot Tiger Arctia villica (Linnaeus, 1758) 
Status .....There are currently no Nottinghamshire records of this attractive species, which is widespread across most of southern England. Our thanks go to Phil Cadman, for kindly suppying us with the photographs below, which show the subspecies Arctia villica subsp angelica.
