Coleophora otidipennella (Hübner, [1817])
Status .....An early flying Coleophora, which is found flying rather weakly in grassy areas where the larval foodplant Woodrush (Luzula spp) grows. Records from Clipstone Old Quarter in early May 2016, appear to be the first for Nottinghamshire. There are visually identical species which generally fly later in the Summer months.
