Caloptilia falconipennella (Hübner, 1813)
Status .....A rare moth in Nottinghamshire with only two post-2000 records we are aware of. In October 2012, it was recorded from Cotgrave CP (Clough, J.) possibly as larval feeding signs. The most recent record was of an adult attracted to light at Attenborough NR in early 2017 by Tim Sexton, who kindly allowed us to use his photograph.
