Bulrush
Wainscot Nonagria typhae (Thunberg, 1784) |
Status
.....Generally a moth of wetland
habitats. Although largely restricted to the Trent
Valley, this is another wetland speies prone to wander
and can appear at sites well away from suitable habitat,
as evident by one trapped in our urban garden in
September 2014. The individual in the lower two
photographs was trapped by members the Lound Moth Group
and kindly supplied to us by Phil Cadman. |
