Bulrush Wainscot Nonagria typhae (Thunberg, 1784) 
Status .....Generally a moth of wetland habitats. Although largely restricted to the Trent Valley, this is another wetland speies prone to wander and can appear at sites well away from suitable habitat, as evident by one trapped in our urban garden in September 2014. The individual in the lower two photographs was trapped by members the Lound Moth Group and kindly supplied to us by Phil Cadman.
