Argyresthia pygmaeella ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775)  
Status .....An uncommon and patchily distributed moth in Nottinghamshire and probably somewhat under-recorded and largely confined to wetland sites such as the Idle Valley NR where it has been recorded on a number of occasions. The specimen below was trapped at Ollerton Pit Woods by Dave Morton and Andy Ashley, who very kindly supplied the specimen for inclusion here.
