Ancylosis oblitella (Zeller, 1848) 
Status .....A former scarce migrant moth to the UK, colonising south-eastern counties back in the 1950's. Ancylosis oblitella is a very rare moth in Nottinghamshire with just two records. One was recorded at MV light from the Red Hill area, north of Eakring on August 8th 2004 (Pendleton, T.A. and P[endleton, D.T.), which remained the county's only record until another was recorded from Langford Lowfields on August 11th 2025 (Morton, D. and Ashley, A.), then a third to MV light at Broadholme on August 24th 2025 (Gray, M.).
