Adela cuprella ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775)
Status .....Presumed uncommon, or at least under-recorded in Nottinghamshire. A moth suspected as being this species, was seen flying over Sallow at Warsop Main Pit Top in 2018, but remained out of reach and unidentified until one was caught in April 2019. In general, Adela cuprella fly over the tops of Goat Sallows and out of reach, only occasionally dropping low enough to catch.
