True Lover's Knot Lycophotia porphyrea ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775)
Status .....Common on heathland within Sherwood Forest, but probably found at most similar habitat around the Mansfield area. In 2014, we recorded this moth away from such habitat at Lound Wood, Eakring and at Market Warsop, so adults must wander occasionally.
