Holly Tortrix Rhopobota naevana (Curtis, 1831)
Status ..... Presumed to be relatively scarce in the county, but specimens attracted to MV light are often not the best marked of moths and recorders may be put off by assuming it to be too worn to identify. Fresh specimens are easier and two very different examples are showed here. The July 2010 specimen taken at Clipstone Old Quarter, was the first Sherwood Forest NNR record in over a century at the time.
