| Status .....The mines illustrated, represented the first records for the Sherwood Forest NNR at the time and the few follow-up records, suggest that the moth seems to be genuinely scarce in Nottinghamshire, but is likely overlooked to some degree. The mines can be found on seedling Birches, or those Birches only a few inches tall. There are recent records from Sherwood Heath, Budby South Forest, Bevercotes Pit Wood and the former Rufford Colliery. | ||
