Pine Carpet Pennithera firmata (Hübner, 1822) .... Formerly known as Thera firmata
Status .....Common around the Pine forested areas of Sherwood Forest, where it can turn up at MV light in large numbers. Should be common around the Mansfield area of Nottinghamshire, where commercial forestry has no doubt aided this moth's local range.
