Phyllonorycter roboris (Zeller, 1839)
Status .....A rare Phyllonorycter in Nottinghamshire with very few records. It is rarely found, even in the Oak woodlands which help make up the Sherwood Forest NNR. These mines were only the second and third site records (found a decade apart) and were very difficult to find among the large numbers of other Phyllonorycter sp leaf mines, although the blotch mine of P. roboris is larger than most other species.
