Phyllocnistis unipunctella (Stephens, 1834)
Status .....All of the records we have been made available, are from the south-west and west of Nottinghamshire. It will probably turn out to be quite a common leaf miner if deliberately searched for in other parts of the county. The larvae mine the leaves of Black Poplar, Lombardy Poplar, but it was recently recorded on White Poplar Populus alba growing at Retford in July 2025.
