Heliozela sericiella (Haworth, 1828)
Status .....More often recorded as evidence of larval feeding damage at the base of Oak leaves. The larva creates a gall in the leaf petiole and midrib, before cutting out an oval hole in the leaf. Presently seems largely confined to the Sherwood Forest area of Nottinghamshire, but likely to much under-recorded.
