Heliozela sericiella (Haworth, 1828)
Status .....More often recorded as evidence of larval feeding damage at the base of Oak leaves. The larva creates a gall in the leaf petiole and midrib, before cutting out an oval hole in the leaf. Presently seems confined to the Sherwood Forest area of Nottinghamshire.
