Larch Case-bearer Coleophora laricella (Hübner, 1817)
Status .....Uncommon in Nottinghamshire, but probably present in all forestry plantations containing Larch Larix decidua and on many isolated trees. Larval cases easily found by hand searching the lower branches of Larches between the Sherwood Forest CP and Budby South Forest in 2009. There are also records from Haywood Oaks, the former Calverton Colliery site, Woodthorpe Park, Nottingham and a number of sites after targetted searching.
