Larch
Case-bearer
Coleophora
laricella (Hübner, 1817) |
Status
.....Uncommon in Nottinghamshire, but
probably present in many forestry plantations containing
Larch (Larix decidua). Larval cases were easily found by hand
searching the lower branches of Larches between the Sherwood Forest CP
and
Budby South Forest in 2009. There are also records from Haywood Oaks and
the former Calverton Colliery. |
