Calybites phasianipennella (Hübner, 1813)
Status ..... Seems scarce in Nottinghamshire, with few records which we are aware of. Calybites phasianipennella has two, very distinct forms, both of which are illustrated here. The moths photographed, were attracted to MV light at the Idle Valley Nature Reserve near Retford, by members of the Lound Moth Group and to MV lights from gardens in Market Warsop and Worksop. Thanks go to Phil Cadman for providing the Worksop specimen.
