Acleris logiana (Clerck, 1759)
Status .....Formerly known only from Birch woodland in Scotland, but it appeared further south across southern counties of the UK in the early 2000's, where it was once regarded as a migrant only. In Nottinghamshire, our record of one at Lound Wood in 2007, appears to be the first Nottinghamshire record, followed by singles taken at Broadholme in 2009 (Gray, M.) and Sherwood Forest CP and Budby South Forest in 2011 (Pendleton, T.A. and Pendleton, D.T.). But since 2014, it seems to have gone extremely scarce again, with just two county records since 2018.
