Wax Moth Galleria mellonella (Linnaeus, 1758)
Status .....From the general lack of records sent in to us by numerous recorders, this moth may actually be quite rare in Nottinghamshire. Its a species we have only recorded on two occasions in over ten years, with records from Eakring in 2006 and Sherwood Forest NNR in 2011.
