.....Normally an extremely rare migrant to
Nottinghamshire, but following a huge influx into the UK in 2006, there
were at least ten records. All but one of these occurred between
September 6th (Keyworth) and 23rd (Lound Wood, Eakring), with other
records from Red Hill at Eakring, Attenborough, Stanton-on-the-Wolds,
Nuthall, Newark, West Bridgeford and multiple records from Broadholme.
It was then seven years before a single was recorded from Wellow
Park on October 4th 2013 (Wright, S. and Osborne, J.) and then another wait before further records from
Hollyside in 2017 and 2018. Four years later and something of another
influx into Nottinghamshire with moths recorded at South Muskham, West
Bridgford, Mansfield and Keyworth, with singles from
Broadholme and South Muskham in 2023.
The most recent records
are from East Bridgford, Newthorpe and Misterton in 2024, Broadholme, Misterton, South Muskham
and Eakring in 2025. |
