Ochsenheimeria taurella ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775)
Status .....One of two only species of Ochsenheimeria known from Nottinghamshire. Both are very rarely recorded even though they fly during the afternoon. The moth below, was found and photographed by Tim Sexton at the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust's Skylarks NR at Holme Pierrpont in August 2018. Our thanks go to Tim for allowing us to use his photographs to illustrate the species.
