Euchromius ocellea
Status .....A very rare migrant to southern areas of the UK, with less than 50 UK records at the time Goater wrote his book on British Pyralid Moths. Since then, there have been a further 100-200 records. This is possibly the first record of E.ocellea in Nottinghamshire and occurred on a warm and overcast night when numerous other migrants including Vestal, were also recorded arriving at the trap after midnight.
