.....Probably quite uncommon or even
localised in its distribution within Nottinghamshire. Most of the records we are aware
of, have come from heathland and woodland sites within the
Sherwood Forest area. This moth may rely on the presence
of seedling and scrub Birch at such sites, but these are
continuously controlled at all sites within the Sherwood
Forest NNR. |
