Coleophora milvipennis (Zeller, 1839)
Status .....Probably quite uncommon or even rare in Nottinghamshire. The only records we are aware of, have all come from heathland sites within the Sherwood Forest area. This moth may rely on the presence of seedling and scrub Birch at such sites, but these are continuously controlled at all sites within the Sherwood Forest NNR.
