Stock Dove ...

Having a small but widespread resident population making daily feeding movements, means that Stock Dove is another difficult migrant to detect. Certainly, birds do move south with large Wood Pigeon flocks in October and November, but because of the difficulties in determining genuine migrants, no consistant counts have ever been made here.
