| Jay are rarely recorded
moving at altitude and the general movement here, are
birds flying over open fields between suitable sites.
Most move south-west and south-east. Spring records are
fairly common, with birds often moving straight through
north. Autumn migrants are more numerous, occasionally in
small parties. September and October are peak months. |
